My step beyond Booknetic: practical WordPress plugins, built conditional-logic-first. The wedge is simple — the feature most competitors lock behind a paid tier, I give away for free.
Alovio Product Options — live
Alovio Product Options turns a WooCommerce product into a configurator through a drag-and-drop builder: 18 field types, five pricing modes (fixed, per unit, percent, per character and formula), and a live itemised price breakdown before add-to-cart. A colour or image swatch can carry its own product shot, so picking it swaps the product gallery — no variations needed. All of the conditional show / hide / require logic is free, not gated behind Pro.
Alovio Checkout Fields — live
Alovio Checkout Fields adds custom WooCommerce checkout fields with full conditional logic, identical on the classic and the Block (Store API) checkout. Fourteen field types, including a delivery date-and-slot picker that computes its own dates server-side from closed weekdays, lead time and a daily cut-off, and a hardened multi-file upload. Every option can carry a fee, itemised in the order total rather than hidden in one line — and the conditional logic is free, not gated behind Pro.
Alovio Calculator — live
Alovio Calculator is a standalone WordPress plugin: formula-driven cost and quote calculators built on a canvas that is the live calculator, not a form preview. Decimal-safe maths runs the same exact engine in PHP and JavaScript, so the quote a visitor sees is the quote the server agrees with. Conditional logic, repeater rows and a price-matrix field are all free, with eleven ready templates and a one-click importer from Cost Calculator Builder. A paid Pro add-on adds branded PDF quotes, a multi-step wizard, conditional email routing, webhooks and a quote analytics funnel — deactivate it and everything falls back to the free feature set.
Alovio Protect — built, not yet on sale
Alovio Protect is the one that isn’t a WooCommerce plugin. When an update makes a plugin throw a fatal error, WordPress emails you a recovery link and leaves the site down until you read it; a host rollback restores everything and throws away the orders that arrived in between. Protect catches the fatal before WordPress finishes booting, pauses only the extension responsible, and replays the request — the visitor waits a moment and gets the page. The pause is never written to the database, and all of its state lives in files, so the guard still works on a site whose database is the thing that broke.
